DOES FISH HOBBY SICKNESS STOP AFTER YOU HAVE THE MASSIVE TANK?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The addiction never stops.

Ive been in the hobby a few months strated with a 10gal then got another. Then I picked up a 30 & 20gal. Earlier this week I got a 120gal setting it up tonight. Im already thinking abot a 200+ gal. What I and my wife have noticed is that I have become the monster!!! bwahahahaha!!! So my answer is no it doesnt stop only gets worst and I LOVE it!

I started out in the hobby over a decade ago with a 20 gallon, then eventually I upgraded to a 55, then I took down the 55 and didn't have fish for almost a year, then I set up an old .5 gallon bowl and got a betta, which sparked my interest in fish again, so then I got my 220 last July, then I upgraded the betta tank to a 2 gallon because I decided that it was cruel to put a fish in an unfiltered, un-airated tank, and my next tank will be a 5.5 gallon. If I ever get a tank that is larger than my 220, it will be years from now when I have my own place and the money for maintenance.

I'm ill, not sick! I think one day I will have my perfect blend of fish and tanks. As of now, there are still a few choice specimens that I want. What I want can thrive comfortably in a 120 and 220gal. With two tanks stocked with a perfect balance of prized fish, I think my 'Illness' will be sustained.

imagine if your fish feels like breeding. that would mean prolly two more 'must have' tanks right away

never had a big tank [ biggest only 20g but getting bigger ] but i dont think any size would stop me from wanting more

I slowed down after I got my 75, not massive but it's big compared to the other tanks i have which range from 10-40 gallons.
