Does Garlic really work?

ive been dosing frozen bloodworms with garlic and feeding it to my silk for a few days now yet it seems like it has had no effect on his intestinal parasites. does this work at all? has it worked for anyone here before?

Having said that, if your fish has IP's then your best course of action would be to pretreat his food with a 3% solution of epsom salt. You can read more about that in this discussion.

Garlic is not effective unless you gave directly from mouth way -also quite risky- and unpredictive solution.
But espom is solid, I tried and saw...
