Does Hagen honor warranty?

I cracked one of the tabs on the motor trying to put it back into the filter box. I don't know how it could've cracked with so little effort. I'm afraid they will deny any warranty claims.
I emailed them before about my 406 impeller cover warping and they told me that warranty only covers the motor. Would the black plastic tabs of the motor count?

It was not a flaw of design unfortunately. When we brake it they could care less. why not give them a call to find out it wouldn't hurt.
