i'm new to arowanas but i have a 7" juv and he has some red and green in him . Is this just a bad breeding or ? Seems most i see are very silver ... I personally like the color and he only cost me $20 so i think i got a good deal . ...first pic is of my 7" and the second is my 2-3"

there is no such thing a bad color from bad breeding, though color does varies with genetics.

Nothing a good diet cant pump up :)

one thing tht isnt healthy is pale color, that mean something is wrong with the fish, whether it be stress or disease.

but you have a very nice lookin silver :D

Looks good :)

your fish is still small, give it a little more time to grow and the silver will come out ;)

color comes primarily from genetics, food just enhances what true color it has :)
