Does My Leichardti have Gill Curl?

here are pics. can you tell me if he has gill curl or not?

also, he has recently begun breathing heavily and swimming alot more. i think this is because i put a grip of guppies in with him and their jacking all the air. i dont have a air pump running, just a 10gal power filter.
 
Doesnt appear to have gill curl...........sounds like it needs a much larger tank or at minimum better areation though.

he's in a 10 gal right now, but only like 2-3'' so i assumed it was fine for a while.
im looking for a deal on a huge tank before moving him. and i have to cycle the tank a few weeks also.
 
i would keep him in the 10 gal tank for now. if you put him in a larger one he will have a hard time catching guppies. or better yet... get a 10 gal divider at any pet store.. divide the tank into 1/2 and put him on the other side and all the sponge filter/hob and heater on the other side. leichardti's got mine in a 10 gal with dividers plus some one other tanks i have. one thing i notice... the leichardti's that are in my 10 gal and on breeding nets gets to eat more and are fat (less space for the guppies to run and hide).:)
 
HOB-Hang on Back... filters like emperor or aquaclear 110's. :) there are small one's for 10 gal tanks. i use a aquaclear 300 plus 2x sponge filter for the 40 gal with leichardtis and 2x sponge filters for the 10 gal tank. and i got two on my 60 gal tank with the goldfish:D but they are on a breeding net with guppies... just saw them gulp up few guppies.:D
 
add a powerhead or a bubble wand.....should help that awesome fish!!!:)
