Does my royal youngster look alright?

I always see him eating in his little house but after taking his pic tonight i wondered if he was looking healthy... is his eyes suppose to be this dark... just curious because i don't want anything to happen to him.. i would change his environment if this was not ideal... he is in with my bgk and angels and a bristol nose ... are these two plecos okay together...i see the bristol nose get a little pushy once in awhile..who could be nipping at his fins??
 
Not sure. Looks a little rough around the fins, you may have to separate. Is there wood in the tank for the royal to eat on?

yes i have the wood just for him...did you think his eyes were dark... i cannot amagine the angels bothering him...must be the bristol nose..but can bristol nose frey his fins.. i don't think so..maybe fin rot ???
 
He looks fine. That is an L191, dull eyed royal. The fins can be attributed to either or both the angels and the bristle nose.

Thank you...i feel alot better... but i will move him to a tank of his own.. :D

Thanks Davo.. but i had no idea he was getting nipped.. he always seemed to be thriving because when i fed i always checked to see if he was eating.. but someone has obviously decided to ambush him,... he is coming out today and will be among the guppys only... i am glad i saw this in time before he got worse:(
 
True, how long have they all been together, I mean, sometimes it can be one off things, or the start of things to come so it's hard to say. I'd probably switch him, cause he's a nice looking fish, just in case, but it's whatever you feel comfortable with.

They all have been together at least 6 months... bgk,angels, bushy and royal.. i definitly will switch him... he will have no one to bother him at all.. and i would like to have him a very long time.. thanks :D
