Have you tested your water?
Yes
If yes, what is your ammonia?
0.1ppm
If yes, what is your nitrite?
0ppm
If yes, what is your nitrate?
idk
If I did not test my water...
  1. ...I recognize that I will likely be asked to do a test, and that water tests are critical for solving freshwater health problems.
Do you do water changes?
Yes
What percentage of water do you change?
11-20%
How frequently do you change your water?
Every week
If I do not change my water...
  1. ...I recognize that I will likely be recommended to do a water change, and water changes are critical for preventing future freshwater health problems.
Hi all,

Heres the thing:
My female swordtail looks unwell. She has a sunken belly, clamped fins, a weird bulging thing near her gills, and a white-looking possible ulcer near her abdomen. Also, my blue gourami who had lifelong ulcer issues died a month ago, and two weeks later my rosy barb died because of either 1. a tumor that popped or 2. a bubble-like ulcer that popped.

Is it fish TB or some other disease like ulcers?

Thanks

Welcome aboard

Please test all parameters again including Nitrate and post.
11%-20% Is inconsistent and not enough for a water change. The Nitrate level is probably insanely high and is causing issue with the health of the fish in the aquarium. Also Ammonia level should be 0ppm.

Hard to tell without any pics. What you are describing sounds like some type of internal parasite.

Could be tb.

if it isn't infecting the other fish is it tb?
There are chronic forms of it. If the other fish have a good immunity and healthy then it may not be caught. Unfortunately some of what u describe is tb sounding. I’d suggest euthanize the fish and start over. Just IMO.

wait actually now I don't think it's tb. I think it's some type of injury/ulcer on the side of her stomach since she always covers it with a fin and that seems to be the stress.

Pics?
