I am aware that the sex ratios in spawns of some african cichlids, killifish, anabantoids, and south american cichlids are dependent on the pH of the water. I was wondering if this would work on central americans as well, and if so when does the pH begin to affect the development of their reproductive systems, and what pH produces more of what sex?
