did i get your attention? when stocking a tank and adding multiple cichlids i know its best to add all at once and close to the same size is this true of the pikes also? i guess what im gettin at and a few others new to pikes may want to know if im stocking with jag midas and say lenticulata should they all be the same size? it seems to me that a 6 in midas or jag would def have an advantage here. or would it be more like 6 in pike and 4 in other cichlid

I added my Johanna and Xingu 1 at 3" with my 5 inch Black belt and Synspilum
and have had no problem. I also have a Trimac at 4 inches and no problem there.

When I was keeping a jag with my sveni they were the same size and I noticed that the jag was totally opposed to any other fish with a ocellated spot, or tail spot(I think thats what it is called). This included the juvi sveni as well as 2 oscars I was keeping. She got over it after a few weeks and no fish was really hurt at all, just territorial aggression.Good luck with them, I would aim for a larger pike at first, besides, fish are gonna grow at an amazing rate in that swimming pool that you call a fish tank.
