I apologize, I'm on constant parasite watch now that I'm starting with discus, and I had a mystery plague that required the use of oxolinic acid a while back.

One of my abalios has a poop that looks like several pieces of regular brown poop held together by string. So like ===------=====----===--=== where the = is poop and - is string.

The poop is normal and I suppose the string might be light.

Is that cause for parasite concern or no?

I'm about to have a giant cabinet full of every parasite med known to man so I'm not really concerned (and the fish seems fine), but I'm a bit confused by the poop. Maybe I should just treat to be safe? I'm not big on overmedicating, but I might as well if it's all here...

i woould say you are fine, poop also changes with what they eat(like feeding shrimp can change their poop white)just keep and eye on it for the next day or so

I always keep an eye out; I'm not in the room with this tank very often. I have the worst luck catching fish pooping. They're shy, I guess. I swear it has been weeks since I saw any of those fish go...
