I am looking into buying this fish, but I can't tell if its a red texas or a super red texas. Also, does this fish have nice potential?

Thanks,

Looks like a fader with some decent pearl. Pretty sure it isn't what the store has it labeled as. If/When it fades completely, you'll be left with orangeish, pinkish colors and pearl basically.

Super anything is just a marketing ploy. Its a bit hard to tell from the picture whether its a Fader ZZ or a Red Texas. My opinion its low quality and does not have much potential but again just going of the provided pic. I wouldn't pay more than $10 for it but a reasonable local store price would be under $30.

Just say Yuck poor quality

it looks red texas...theres no way for sure to tell if it will be super red unless you see it for yourself. even fry from super red parents dont all turn out super red.

Heres one of my fish that looks kind of like yours. It is a fry from cjbarth... its from the cross that should make red texas.. srt female and texas male, but it is just a fader. I wouldn't call it a red texas or even a texas specifically by the way it looks. Genetically that's what it is, but i just call her a pearly fader.
