Does this male look mature?

From those shots it appears so. Maybe a closer shot to be sure. Is this a different male than the one that impregnated one of your females.
 
It's difficult to get a good shot of this ray. He tends to stay in the back of the tank and is usually moving. Will try though.
This male did not impregnant the female.
 
Looks to me like he's mature.... :D

Now for the hard part... What to do with them.

100% ready to go that fella, the claspers on Hystrix are short and thick, I wouldn't expect them to develop anymore than that.

I was thinking he might be mature. Odd thing is, this guy is about 5.5" diameter! I bought him last fall at around 4" diameter and the claspers were tiny then, as big as you would expect for a young ray. THis spring, he really "sprouted". I wonder if being in the presence of a mature female sped up the process?

I have a male also that has matured super quick, he is about the same size as yours.
 
Would you guys expect these rays that mature quicker to grow just as large as the late bloomers or do you think maturing size has anything to do with max size?
