hey guys my parents got this fish the other day form a LFS and had it in brackish water. they labeled it a silver datnoid...
when i went to visit my rents, just looking at it i dont see how it could be a silver datnoid.
some facts (no pic yet, i told my pops to take one asap)
-it had no vertical lines, just some horizontal lines
-the top fins were in two segments the first fin that was closest to the head spikes up, the second top fin was more of a normal rounded fin
-it was silver, for the most part, it had like spots towards its tail that look like a fancy O
-its about 3" has a longer body than a regular dat
-it glides across the tank, not like a dat, it definately seems like a predatory fish though
-it was 12.99
i was hoping if anyone had an idea if this was a different species, and judging from what info i have given you have you seen or heard of what kind of species if this is not a silver dat. if anyone is familiar with brackish predators I would be greatful on your opinion here
