Does this stand look safe?

I recently got a 180 and a stand from Craigslist. The tank I believe was made in 2000 and can only assume the stand was made around that time too. Maybe earlier, some of the other equipment have dates on it in the late 90's. After furhter inspection when it was moved over to my place it seems to have cut-out edges for it to sit on. Not sure how else to say it. Just wondering if this sounds and looks right? Also it seems to be held on by staples on the support beams.....just look and tell me what you think. I've never had a stand like this, so not sure.

The stand is fine. There are literally thousands upon thousands of those stands holding up 180s and 210s.

Looks safe to me. You can always add some vertical 2x4's for support if your still in doubt,

ya the pet shop stands always look real suspicious to me; but they are engineered to hold. they wouldnt sell otherwise
