Shop table my father in law installed when they had this house. We're possibly gonna try to install a 125g on it, but I'm not sure it'll hold. It's very sturdy, just not sure about 125g filled sturdy. Here's the photos I got.

It's 83" long with legs on the front left corner and center. The rest is nailed into the house and has 2x4s for support horizontally across and from the wall to the front. Based on looks alone, what do you think? Thinking going with the stock stand may be the safest route. Apologies for the mess. We're redoing this room!

I wouldn't use it based on your pics.

Let's talk weight here.....
the water alone weighs 1042.5lbs....
tank another 250+\-
Say, 50-75lbs of sand rocks and whatever else....that's about 1343lbs+\-

The back stud is just nailed to the wall...that would need support.
By the time you strengthened it you could have built a stand...
But, if you like the location, it could be made right.

After considering the effort I probably wouldn't bother unless the location was perfect and you had 24"+ width to work with, which I can't discern from the picture. It could make a cool 7x2 stand if you reinforced the crap out of it, but that's not particularly relevant if you had no plans on upgrading.

I'd say if the space isn't premium and you didn't want to utilize the extra height/width it probably wouldn't be worth it compared to buying or building a properly fitted stand. A stand built to fit the aquarium size will look much nicer imo.

not far off a decent tank stand...as others said...throw a beam across the bottom to tie everything together and i noticed theres no legs in the back so add those also... in the sticky section above check out "Pharoah"s thread "worried ur stand wont hold up" to see what ur missing. $20 or less in 2x4 can make what u have work.
