I feed NLS pellets 95% of the time. But I have a datnoid that is extremely hard to pellet train so when I think I staved him too much I feed frozen krill or frozen silversides. Sometimes live blackworms or earthworms. The fish all seem to be healthy and growing but randomly I see white poop. Could this be from the frozen/fresh food or is it definitely a parasite. I've used 500ml water to a tablespoon of Epsom salt soaked pellets for 5 day twice now. I'm starting the 3rd go now. I wait a week in between. Is there something else or is it maybe the other foods and I'm overreacting. This is the best pic I could get before the turd fell off. I do 50% wc on Fridays and every other tues I use prime parameters are am 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 10-20. I feed once a day and fast a day every other week. Except on the epson salt I try to feed two smaller portions a day for 5 days. Thanks. I have seen the dreded "white poop" from feeding a lot of shellfish, brine shrimp, blood worms ect. The exoskeleton when excreated will have a whiteish apperance and can be confused with IPs.

Should I try to go a few weeks without feeding the frozen live foods. The most I went was 10 days and caved with the datnoid. I think they can go longer though but I just felt bad

I see you're using NLS have you tryed NLS Thera +A? The added garlic is and appatite stimulant. Also use a small pellet NLS it ment to be swallowed whole not chewed, just an FYI. With hold food and try again.

I was hesitant to try the Thera A because in a heated earlier thread on this site, about NLS I read the ingredients were not up to par. But I actually just compared ingredients and saw no difference. Ill give that a try. Thanks for responding.

Thera A are tottally up to par.

Just more difficult, imho, to get them used to them....
