New PBass owner here. Backstory: got a pbass from aquabid that the breeder said only ate frozen food. When I got him, I left the rosies I had in there keeping my cycle going, thinking he was too small to eat them. I was wrong and had to train him to take food from my hands. It was an easy transition though.

Now I have him eating tilapia, worms, and market shrimp, but the thing eats so much, so fast that he ends up vomiting half digested food that I have to clean up. I mean it will stuff itself to an extent I've never seen.

It's great that he is so excited when my wife or I walk by, but is this something you have encountered?

Yes, it's called owner feeds it to much. I have done this, usually it's from feeding faster than it can get the food down or to much, they will eat more than they can hold.

That is correct bassguy...........You over eat, you barf, its that simple.

Yeah, that seems like the cause, but if he keeps begging, how do I know when he's done? I've never had a fish like this before.

Just feed a reasonable amount. Better to feed a few times per day than one big meal anyways. You prob don't eat breakfast lunch and dinner at once or I bet ud puke too
