This was a tigrinus from one of Wes' (fugupuff) 2004 batch.

Now, I'm not sure if this is a common trait on all tigrinus cats, but this particular fish has very prominent gold colorations (and I mean GOLD) right behind the gill plates.

Does your tigrinus have it?

I've seen lots of tigrinus that actually lacks that coloration.

I don't know, maybe some have it and some don't.

Also note the intensity of the blue on the cheeks!
