I was in the pet store and seen a dog fish. I never heard of them can i get input for people to help me decide if I should get them or not. Thanks in advance.

It's actually a water dog. It's the tadpole form of a tiger salamander.

Well considering its gonna turn into a tiger salamander I wouldn't wanna risk putting fish with. You could put it as a species only setup I would think although I've never had the pleasure of owning one. It's an amphibian not a fish so cohabiting it with thing is a little different

Mud puppies and axotoli (sp?) are two different species but very similar looking...

But both need cooler temps to thrive... There was a thread about them in the reptile section on these forums...
