Dog Survives After Being Snatched by Owl

My GF told me about this last night I was a little amazed but then again it was a really small dog

Man that's nothing. Great Horned Owls can kill animals as big as Skunks, Cats and Foxes. That little dog is barely the size of a rabbit.

We got some big birds of prey here in Iowa. Over in Davenport, thats on the Mississippi and there is some huge birds over there.

I used to work at a Vet and I had more than a handful of clients tell me their dogs were snatched up by hawks or owls.
I'm sorry but, it was REALLY hard to keep a straight face when they told me that.

I mean lets face it, if it can get snatched up and a bird can carry it in flight,..... its not a dog. Its a barking rat.
