i say a sale on ebay for a 75g with "3 ciclids, 1 placosimist and 3 dog face puffers" i thought dogface puffers were salt. how is this combo of fish possible?

they are salt, maybe the guy is just selling them or he has a brackish species of puffer hes mislabeled

See, the problem here is you forgot the "moron factor" that is assocaited with the person who is selling this setup.

With this taken into consideration you get the following:

75G + e^(i*pi) + (Summation of 1/2^n) + Compatible Misidentified Fish = Actual Deal

So, e^(i*pi) = -1, and Summation of 1/2^n (as "n" reaches infinity) = 1, these cancel out...which eliminates the possibility of them keeping dogface puffers in freshwater.

Finally you get this:

Actual Deal = 75G + Compatible Misidentified Fish

...maybe I should take a half day...:nilly:

Do you have a link to that ad?

I have seen these ciclids. They have the "H" pattern in their scales so that is why it is missing from their names.

The placosimist is very rare. It actually has a very strong opinion, but not an optimist or a pessimist. Has it's very own view on everything.

But what I want to know is, does the dogface come with one of those fancy, jeweled collars?

I fancy the jeweled collar more than the spiky collar. Where's linky?:D

NOPE, SPIKEY COLLAR
Oh, one of THOSE kind of dogs.

Maybe he means pignose puffers, they kind of remind me of a dogface, but they're freshwater.

You're not supposed to keep 3 of them together though or with other fish in general....

Really, they could be anything considering anyone that knows what they're talking about knows an actual dogface is saltwater.
