Hi everyone. I'm about to delve into the world of saltwater here. I have a 65 gallon tank. HO lighting, Instant Ocean sea salt, Eheim Professional II canister filter, hang on the back protein skimmer, Prime dechlorinator, hydrometer, two 75 watt heaters, 2 rotating powerheads. Is there anything else essential that I'm missing here? I'm wondering about trace elements, what should I get in that department, or do I need them. I'm going to purchase 50lbs. of live rock this week from my LFS. I've also got 40 lbs. of Carib-Sea live sand. The rock is already cured, but I'm aware that I should continue to cure it for several more weeks. I don't plan on putting any fish in this thing until it's been running for about 2 months. I just want to get my live rock in there and get it completely cured, then I'll place my sand in. Not sure what kind of fish I'm getting, but I'm not doing corals, at least not yet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
