Doing a swap 55 for 75

Ok my solo Jack dempsey is in a 55, thinking of jsut adding a BN pleco, but today just scored a free 75, so in the 75, could i do a jack Dempsey and 1x convict for life, assume i give them there own little territory. will the pleco make it with those 2 or just the 2x or maybe they can not be together you opinions please. I am becomming obsessed with SA/CA and jsut need to get a 10 ft tank to house all the ones i want:drool::drool:

ps. I almost postive it is an eletric blue JD atm
 
it should work,BN get 6-8 inches max.another idea would be to find your JD a mate,breeding behavior is great to experience.if you do try that,then don't add the pleco,they would probably kill it if they breed
 
Virgil breeding pair was my gfs ideal, not sure to sex and I really want a convict, her excuse was well get a pair of jacks in 75 and a convit pair in 55, NO more tanks, lol 3x 125s,75x and god knows how many 20 longs for bettas is enough, untill i get my monster tank
 
The convict and the Jack Dempsey in the 75 should be no problem at all.

I wouldn't get a convict pair in a 55, because within a week you will have 150 little convicts and since it is just the pair in there almost all of the fry will survive.
 
oh wow, did not know that, will stick to the 75, with Con and JD, i am posting this pic for you to tell me if it a JD or a EBJD, i have been getting people telling me both
