I bought 2 dojo loaches today hoping they will help with my little snail prolbem. I am kinda wondering if those little snails might be something my fire eel would eat??? Anyone

I have 5 horseface loaches, they top out around 6" at most, and have kept my ramshorn population in check.

Your cardinal tetras will eventually disappear. Furthermore, why are you mixing the tropical and coldwater species together? That will never work in my opinion and if one species gets the benefit, the other suffers. What else are in your tank?scubasteve06;1702531; said:Wow I just transferred my dojo which is a good 6" to a 55g...he only has 6 other occupants in there with him and will have no more than 15 and 6 of those will be cardinal tetra's...
They will never eat snails effectively. Try to remove those snails maunally or using veggies instead of using a fish to do the job for you. What snails do you have?birdbrown;1701897; said:I bought 2 dojo loaches today hoping they will help with my little snail prolbem.
