I've got six dolphin barbs for fifty dollars!!!! Would love to hear from experienced owners and would love to have more info on the species or any closely related monsters.

They are mean fish and will kill. I've always seen large ones kept solo in a tank.
I had one a few years back, probably 11" to 12" or so in size. Didn't cause any issues, although that may be due to the fact it was dwarfed by the black shark, who was boss in the tank. Didn't need anything special, and at whatever went in tank.
