Any interisting info in pseudodpras niger? I know they aren't really killers, but I was curious about thier tank behavior. Would a 125 Gal be to small for a pair?

Yes, I think that 125 Gal can be satisfied for pseudodpras niger, many keeper breed this fish in Taiwan, they are very powerfully if give fully foods.

Tank breaker powerful, such as the red tailed cat?

yea... get big and massive.. never owned on tho

125 is way to small. Mine was well over 30 inches and I only had him a couple of years. He was in a 7 foot by 30 inch tank and he pretty much dwarfed that.

Psuedodpras? You mean pseudodoras niger? The ripsaw cat, schooling scavenger that reaches 38" in the wild? I think the 125 might be a tad small if this fish in the picture by Magalhaes is the one you mean.

What is a fair price for those? My LFS has one that probably close in size to the one above for $500 and they also have some "babies" around 10 inches but I forget the price.

Yep. 125 looks pretty small for one of those. I just love how all these different published authorities give broad ranges on actual size. One writer says they'll get about 24", another says 36", but your photo says, "holy S#@*! that's one big cat!"

Thanks.
