Dolphin fish.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've never had one, but i wish i could get them here! Don't even think they're available. Hence why i'm trying to live through you! :P

I assume you'd treat them the same as an Elephant Nose, if that's any help. Probably feed bloodworms, sand substrate?

Hopefully someone with more knowledge stops by.

blood worms, frozen or live. sandy substrate, well filtered and oxygenated water. light flow. dimly lit but heavily planted. I suggest fake plants (because I'm a black thumb XD) or something capable of surviving in subdued lighting like java fern and anubias. plenty of hiding spots like drift wood and clay pipes.

as for tank mates, nothing too aggressive or active that may stress it out or eat all of its food before it can grab any.

I have had terrible success with these. They are suseptible to dying from medications, water changes, and temperature fluctuations. They do/can get along with other fish, african cichlids, barbs. They prefer live worms but can be coaxed into frozen. I am a very experienced mfker and have sadly lost more than a handful. The wife forbids me to get another one but they are so dang cool! I wish you better luck than i have had.
