My wife and I travelling to the Dominican Republic next week to celebrate our anniversary. We would like the trip to be meaningful as possible, has anyone ever traveled there? Open for any suggestions. I wonder if there is a public aquarium there?

Been there a half dozen times or so, going back down in two weeks. To the best of my knowledge, there is no public aquarium. I know there is a Waterworld type park near Kofreze Beach (I know it's not spelt right) on the west side of Puerto Plata. It's one of those dolphin jumping through hoops things. I haven't been down to Punta Cana though.
