I just received a delivery from Dave's Rare Aquarium Fish. Each of the 4 fish was triple-bagged, in clean water, and arrived in fantastic shape. Two of them actually picked at frozen mysis AS they were slipping out of their shipping bag. I asked Dave for the two fattest and lightest and two darkest for an edge on winding up with M/F pairs. He hooked me up just right.
Anywho, here are a few pics of the newcomers. They're called Paretroplus maculatus and they hail from the the Komoro area of northwestern Madagascar. This group of FW cichlids is noted for their strong resemblance to SW tangs.
