This is my vision 450 litre bow front tank. This tank has been home to many a cichlid in the past years. It has been fun keeping cichlids but now I think it's time for a change.
Full tank shot of how it is now, not the best pic as the bow reflects light.

Lighting - There is two i bars running four 36w bulbs. Three are daylight and one warm.
Filtration - filtration is still on the heavy side as the cichlids needed alot of filtration.
- internal juwel filter with 1500 lph powerhead
- external fluval 405 with spray bar
- external fluval fx5
Stock
- 1 x 6in pair of Channa pulchra
- 1 x 3in Jaguar Cichlid (he will be going soon)
- 2 x 14 -16 in Fire Eels
- various Mollys & Sword Tails
Substrate is a mixture of sand and gravel
plants - The floating plants are live, the rest are silk along with wood and rocks

I also have a smallish grow-out tank with some Channa ornatipinnis growing on to go in the 5foot when they are a good size.

Interesting change...

How many years did you keep cichlids for and why did you decide to switch?

I have been keeping/breeding Cichlids for the past 18years, why did I want to change? they was just starting to get more of a chore rather than being fun, I dont think i'll ever give up on them just for now a change it good.

I have alway wanted to get one but untill now never did, these are a good size (14 - 16incvhes each) the only thing im finding is that one will not take any food? the other one will not stop eating worms.
