I gess I was completly wrong when I recomend people to keep their iguanas on a good quality uv ligth, to feed them a fresh varied diet focused on dark leafy vegetables amd to use a good quality food suplement. Oh and iguana leashes are good! Why bother making a outdoor enclosure, a leash is so convinient and easy to use! Dont bother if your iguana freaks out and starts to roll on it, he will get used to it, funny how its face its turning blue... Oh and feed them letuce, lots of it! dandilions are only a suplement tho, they can make your iguana sickIf you go to the photos section you can see how iguanas are pretty much garvage disposers, they even eat plastic bags

Oh and as it seems you can hold adult snapping turtles by their tail and feed dog food to iguanas

thats horrible its illegal to kill snappers if its not season why the heck would he say you can run over them. they also released one into a lake after like a year of having it in captivity

The blue box was created by someone conserned about the kind of info that was being ofered in the page. Notice that the autors repply was: you pick on everything. The thing is, its not about being picky, the things stated by this page are big mistakes that can be fatal for a pet iguana.

The page on there about piranhas is even funnier (funny in some kind of morbid way) they have a section explaining why goldfish are economical for you , and colour enhancing for your fish.

Good reliable keeping of herps hasn't really picked up till the past decade or two. Cut the guy a break, atleast his page is better then those care sheets at commercial petstore chains.

The iguana with the mixed bag of salad was a joke, a poor one. But, it wasn't eating the plastic...

Agreed. I love reading the caresheets though. Their soo funny. Whoever actually writes them have a sense of humor.
