As my collection progressed from community fish to Monster fish, I managed to accumulate a lot of flake food. I have about 9 containers of the stuff, including 4 types of Omega One and some Ocean Nutrition. Most of my fish won't eat it, but the loaches definitely will. If you have excess flake food around your house, you can add it to the variety of items you feed your loaches.
Don't forget the flake food.

I use flake food as a welcome mat for new fish intros., not just CL's. It seems, by me at least, LFS use flake food as the only form of food for their stock. When I place new fish in my tanks, they seem to come out when they see some flake floating around. My CL's do like flake as well, but it is food so they'll eat it reguardless.
I'll have to try mine on flake. Their staple diet at the moment is Hikari cichlid gold, floating type not sinking, which they all scoff off the surface faster than the cichlids!
