Years of fish keeping and i make such a stupid basic dumb mistake any fish keeper shouldnt do. i forgot prime after 60% water change. and what did i lose? the datnoid of course. a datnoid! do u know how hard it is to find a datnoid in miami? well i havent seen them again since i bought him a year ago. all the other common $2 fish were fine. but noooooo datnoid gone in minutes. in my defense i was cooking breakfast and watching two toddlers at the same time. lesson here folks dont multi task during water changes and dont forget the prime!

Sorry for your loss. Dats are not easy to get here either. I hate to multi-task (especially watching our kids) during w/c's too as I forgot to turn on my filters after the water fill until the next day, almost 20 hours later. And it happened THREE times already. Luckily I didn't loose any fish.

I did it again! how on earth?! during todays 60% water change in my 125g i forgot the prime again! i lost my huge old bala shark. he was belly up within minutes. everyone else was fine though. i have three breeding pairs in there one spawning one with fry so im glad nothing happened.
well, least you didnt accidently pour novus instead of conditioner into your sump like i did one time
