In search of Leiarius
skinned some parts of my left hand when the fish tank slid of its stand and i tried to catch it. caught it and ALOT of pain. The tank acyrlic and empty of water but not sand.The hand is now covered in a triple antibiotic ointment. I alos had to cut away the loose skin.

Just keep it covered with a sterile dreesing and use the neosporin. If it shows signs of infection, ie: throbbing, pain, red streaks, fever, pus etc, go to the dr. Otherwise you should be fine, hope you learned a valuable lesson. Remember Safety First
 
yep, just let the tank fall or get stronger. even though I got less than 1 square inch of skin removed it hurts worse than I thought an injury of this sort would.

Docs around here are mostly quacks that can't tell neosporion from hemroid cream. But if I need to I will. Whats funny is this isn't my worst injury ever , but it is the most painful. Cutting my finger half off was the most serious.
 
Keep it out of the tank water, too. The bacteria isn't good for the cut.

Heres pics of my hand from yesterday. It has healedpretty much half way now. The speed of healing is getting scary.
 
Pics tomorrow. It is scabbing over and no longer needs bandages, just keep my hand clean and occasional antibiotic ointment. Family thinks I am a freak.
