i was checking on my scorpion today to see how it's doing... it likes to hide under a huge rock and each time i clean the tank, i have to lift the rock up, check the scorpion, move the scorpion out of the way, and finally set the rock back down. well, i got lazy today and decided to put the rock back without disturbing the scorpion. BAD IDEA!!:irked: the dirt collapsed(without me knowing) and squished the scorpion preventing it from getting out of the way. so 2 hours later, when i planned on feeding it, i find it barely alive and flatter than usual. hopefully it will make it...

As long as nothing ruptured he's probably fine.
I've head of people repairing ruptured abdomens on their tarantulas with skin glue.

This is exactly why I do not put even slightly "heavy objects" (compared to the animal) back over anything.. I make them move and they can make a NEW home under whatever furniture rather than risk squishing them.
