Just wondering about these collection trips I hear about....trips to amazon,belise etc...Where you go catch fish and hit the border markets and get wild fish...how the hell do you get em back to the states? just wondering....I'm new in case you couldn't tell. :headbang2
 
Hiya Xirishetc, welcome to MFK.
I have wanted to go on a trip like that for years but one thing or another always came up.
At least some of the trips will help arrange permits and shipping and the fish are shipped to Florida where they are "boarded" until pick up or further airport to airport shipping can be arranged.

Check out Aquatechnics or Margarita tours, the Margarita peopls do one week $1395 and 2 weeks for $ 2290 on a house boat on the Amazon, airfare ETC is extra.
 
i'v started saving for my amazon fishing trip in about 2 years will def show u all the picks!! lmao
 
Our company is also trying to put togethor an Amazon fishing trip, but it may be a few years in the making soon. MFK will definately know about it, when it happens.

We plan to allow you to collect your own fish, which then we will take back to our Exporter's facility in Lima, Peru.. From there he will hold your fish until we have all arrived back at our homes.. Then we will Import them into our airport, and tranship the fish all back to your destinations!

i have a bit more of the world to see yet but the amazon will definatley be one place i visit.
i may need to convince the G/F first though.

IM COMING TOO! I dont have any money right now....and couldn't go even if I wanted to cause of school....maybe in the summer, or wait till im on my own.

unless you wouldn't mind shipping me along on a cargo boat, or sitting on your lap....

I gotta go tour the world, catching fish is a must though.
