i have a big ammonia probplem in my small piranha tank, i mean lots of amonia becuse the tank is too small, so i just got a new big one today and have added everything but i alos added the crap other filter aswell to help with cycling, is it best to move them now as the ammonia in the current tank is alot and i dont think it would be as bad in the new big tank as my piranhas are only 3 inch, do you think i should wait untill the other one if cycled which will take at least 2 weeks or move them now as the crap ammonia filled tank will be with out a filter for 2 weeks if i dont move them now????

Into what size tank i.e. how much bigger?
Any nitrite/nitrate reading?
What is the ammonia reading?
How are they behaving with this ammonia reading?
What are you feeding and are they eating?

If the tank they are in has no filter, I would say you need to move them pretty soon. Go to your LFS and buy bio-spira, that will help jump start your cycle. In the current tank they will begin to reach dangerous levels of ammonia very quickly without anything to help convert the ammonia they put off as well as that which is already in the tank.
