don't know tank wich to buy

i am checking prices,deal for few weeks now and have chosed 2 kits.one is 40 gallon 10mm glass,canopy,neon,filter and stand for 350$ and a 55gallon 6mm glass with cheaper filter,neon for 175$

quantity over quality?i don't care about the cheaper filter of the 55 because i have plenty small ones to help or i can buy another one...but the glass thickness...seem thin to me.i'll get piranhas or maybe a smakehead if i cant't have the caribes

any help would be apreciated

Get a 75G or a 90G you'll be much happier with them than a 55. The 12" part really limits what you can put in there. And I'm not sure if either of the fish you want will be to happy in a 55.

go to Big Als (must be one near you) and get a 90 gallon kit. well worth it.

hmmm...guess where i am going tomorow morning!

any suggestion of mesurement for a custom made??around 50gallons.keep in mind i will probbly have pirahnas 2-3.i don't need very high as they don't swim much vertically

for three messy pirahna you would be better to step up to at least a 75 gallon tank (48x18x20)

went there.nice store.lotsa fish even saw some piranha sanchezi wich was the first time in store for me.and their shark....dammit....3+ ****ing foot long of vicious predator....damn i stood there for a good 10min....
found something i would like...a 75gallon with stand 400$
