ive only been a member to mfk for a short time now but its by far the best forum and community for fish loving people. i was a member to another site but all people did was talk ***** about what other people had to say. if someone had a question all they got as a response was how stupid they were for not knowing it, everybodys fish was better than somebody elses, and if your fish wasnt top quality it was junk. all im trying to say is this is a great site and keep up the good work. im here to stay.:headbang2:headbang2

Great to have you aboard... Over-all, everybody trys to help everybody here, with a few exceptions, that can easily be overlooked.;)
If this is not the right place for this thread the mfk auto-bot will move it for you. Welcome to MFK. Always great to have one more lifer on this site.

THATS THE FIRST THING I LOOK AT WHEN I GET A NEW APARTMENT!! IF A TANK WONT FIT, I CANT LIVE THERE! LOL
 
yeah its a good group of folks here, except for a few bad apples which you will quickly see as you spend more time here. but nevermind them. their life sucks so they troll internet forums trying to cause trouble :)

Yea a lot of fish sites are really hostile, but luckly there's MFK :D
 
Yeah, most people here are really nice and helpful. And they actually know about fish from personal experience, not from reading about them on Wikipedia

I think you would be hard pressed to find many people that dident like MFK.

It seems the fish keeping community here, is, like you said, much less about "my fish is bigger and better than yours". I find the people on this site at least know how to show off their fish and tanks in a manner that dosent make them look like stuck up snobs. Even the guys with the most expensive fish, or largest tanks dont put themselves above answering a question about a tiny little guppy if they can.

MFK is quite the place indeed. Ego's are checked at the door 99% of the time, and everyone wants to help each other.
