Dont mess with centipede...

I recently got a vietnamese centipede during my vacation in florida. while feeding it today, the pede decided to attack me. The centipede is not hurt, and i dont plan on handling it any time soon...

i know..i didn't think it would grab me though. Plus, it was eating food so I thought it would be more focused on the food then me

How's your finger? There is one fatality attributed to that species, so you might want to get that bite looked at.

wiggles 92 maybe one of these centipedes would have been good practice for "hot' snakes, you get a little jolt but not likely fatal unless allergic

True, but the venom took 26 hours to kill in the one known fatality, so I wouldn't just ignore a bite in case complications develop.

he didn't get to bite me fortunately. when he cling to me, i paniacked and threw him onto my bed.
