you ask What do you mean. Well I learned the hard way about mixing store fish and wild fish. I had a healthy tank for an assortment off goldfish. My daughter while swimming over the summer in our local river caught a couple small trout and sculpin, all alive. After begging for a while I finally agreed to add them to the tank. Well in about two weeks all were lost. But now I am happy to say I now have four tanks up and running with a wider variety of fish.

I would keep the catching small trout on the down low if I Where you fish in game can get pretty mad when you mess with trout

I almost forgot Welcome to MFK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
post up some pictures of your current stock in the photo lounge I love seeing new fish and fishkeepers

Hiya Flower, welcome to MFK,
Unfortunately the sculpins and trout both require fairly low temps (trout 65 F and below) and very high O2 levels, if you adapt them slowly pikeminnows, stonerollers, yellow suckers will all adapt to well aerated unheated tanks. The Olympic mudminnow (Novumbra hubbsi) can be found in slow weedy waters and transitory pools in the Queets, Chehalis, and parts of the Deschutes river drainages, also in Ozette Lake, they are superb tank fish that do well in unheated tanks and can be kept with small gold fish, they are quite tolerant of temps in the mid 70s F. and do well at lower O2 levels than trout and sculpin. They adapt to flake food as well but like mosguito larvae, baby guppies, brine and fairy shrimp, and very small worms. They get a bit more than 3" in length, and spawn from November to June, the males get territorial and get a dark color with bands of blue and white during spawning season, otherwise they are a paler brown. They lay eggs in clutches in weeds and the male guards them, they will breed in a 20g. If you ever come across them try them out.

Before adding to any tank you should quarentine the new ones. If I could count how many times I got ick in my tanks:WHOA: . Never since quarentining them. Sorry for your loss.

Trout are really difficult to keep even in a pond. You could try bass or bluegill much easier

trout + goldfish = trout??
