Don't sex amphs based on body shape...

So I've been trying to grow out a male chancho, and various other cichilds...Out of 4 chanchos I thought they were all male especially this one. However one by one my stud of a Midevil has been trying to pair with them (though I've been pulling the females). Just ordered more amphs and 7 of them being chanchos...I figure 1 has to be male. In the meantime I think I'll see what a Midevil x Chancho looks like.

Yes Midas and RD and Midevils can never ever be sexed by looking at them. I had 100 fry and kept the biggest baddest fish in there thinking it was a male. Literally was so shocked at the size its been 6 months and shes 7-8". Her tube dropped and hooked up with my male flowerhorn and laid eggs with him.

I never seen any spawning behavior between my fish only my male who dug like crazy. I know shes about to lay eggs soon because the female beats the living crap out of her sibling which sex is unknown lol
