Ok I know ur not supost to mix Gars with Cichlids but i was thinking i have got both Frontosa and Gars in the Same water chemestry but diffrent tanks. And due to Frontosa Normaly staying near the bottom and being relatively carm as Cichlids go, and Gars normally staying near the midd to top area. i would wonder if they would be ok together?

You'd never know until you try, but cichlids generally don't work out for a few reasons. 1) They are territorial and gars have no way to defend themselves, 2) Gars usually outgrow them quickly and pose a threat.

Gars use all levels of the water column, bottom, middle and top. I had a frontosa in with a smaller gar before, not a combination I would try again or recomend.

exactly. also x2 on what madding said. similar water chemistry is all your are left with after the above comments, and that isn't a good enough reason to keep any fish together. i would highly advise skipping the combo--
