Long time lurker on the forums but only just registered, first post

Been looking for a Hemisorubim platyrhynchos (spotted shovelnose) for ages now and just cant seem to find one anywhere, dont suppose you can get hold of them can you?

If so what sort of size?

Needs to be big enough not to be seen as food for my two Oscars of around 9 maybe 10 inches.

From what Ive seen of the spotted shovelnoses is that they dont get much over 12" and if they do it must take years?
Not sure it would be a good tank mate for oscars but will have a look see if I can get them and what it says about them.
But from my experiance, not the hardest shovelnose.

My two Oscars are big pansys tbh lol.

Have a 6 inch lima in with them (and his m8 who didnt seem to grow nearly as fast growing on in a friends tank) without any problems, theyre both real softys.

Think one would be fine
