A short while ago there was a picture of albino channas identified as striata on the forum. One of our lfs has had a couple in about 2" for about 5 weeks and we have been mulling over the possibilities of needing seperate tanks for them when fully grown depending on their temperements. We decided to bite the bullet on saturday but found them looking very sorry for themselves.Against any advice I would give we took them hoping to be able to pull them round. We then found out from the manager that he had been off sick for most of the week and no one had fed any of the fish whilst he was off.One died in the night and the other is dying now, despite everything we have done.I know life is full of ifs,but if we had only decided to get them a week earlier.............Its not like we will get the chance for any again easily, but more importantly what a waste of what could have been 2 striking fish.
