Anybody got any experience with tank mates and their dorado's. I have a 9" Dorado and I have the oportunity for a 9" African Pike Characin. Would these two fish mix?
Dorado and Hepsetus Odoe

i have kept both of these fishes at one time and.or another... never mixed them though. IME with them, i don't see why not??... definitely would say it's worth giving a shot! 
Both fish are fairly similar to one another, body structure, movement (open waters), feeding habits, and behaviorwise. Only thing i would say say is the dorado's temperment is abit MORE aggressive than the odoe??... as long as there's enough tank space for thes 2 to move around in, it should be okay!!

Just an update. I got the odoe and they a currently a week later living together no problems. I am keeping a close eye on things though.
