hello everyone! I recently got myself a small ~2.5 in baby dorado catfish and he is not eating. I’ve tried shrimp, earthworms, feeders, silverside, bloodworms and pellets. He didn’t even acknowledge any of them. Even the feeders! It has been 48 hours now and he looks very skinny. Also my parameters are everything zero nitrate 10 and ph neutral. Temp 84. Should I be worried? Is he just adjusting to his tank still? Feeders are quarantined for 1 month before feeding btw.

And I know the temp is high, I have plenty of aeration. And I should probably add that he is in his tank alone, so it’s not a tank ate that is stressing him out

Forty eight hours is still within the adjustment window for a new dorado catfish, so I would not panic yet, but I would stop offering so many different foods back to back. Keep the tank dark and quiet, then try one strong smelling meaty food at night with feeding tongs, because many new predatory catfish will ignore food until they feel secure.
