What all do you all feed the dorados

I feed em every alternate day, the most regular food they get is Tilapia fillet.
One occasion they get
meal worms
Super Worms, which they enjoy eating and gorge on them as they would while eating tilapia.

I feed them roaches too, now they do go for roaches, but wouldn't chew and swallow soon, they keep them in their mouths and roam around the tank, it's like you don't like it, but you don't want to spit it out.

I would like to know what all the others feed em.

Pretty much everything, have a similar feeding schedule to you, generally mussels, squid, chunks of various fish including bones, organs, fins etc. Mine also usually gets 2 or 3 massivour pellets on the gap days as I have fish I feed every day, I can't help feeding him.

I haven't fed Pellets in almost six months

I catch wild Leopard Frogs - gorge theem on gut loaded crickets, then feed to the Dorado. They love em......

How big are your dorados? I feel once any fish hit 12"+ they will need pellets to sustain. When they lack that certain vitamin in adulthood they will stop eat and starve themselves. Just my observation over the years.

My dorados, the smallest one is 11" and biggest one almost 13", eyeballing.

Hmm, what you say does make sense, what Pellets you feed to your dorados.

I completely agree. It's a nutritional point really. I used to feed 'clean' meat products, i.e fish fillet, I now buy hole fish and they get meat, bone, guts and all. I was going to start a thread on this. I have expearenced it with a couple of large fish. I now include pellets either inserted into other food items or just throw them in if they will take them. I use massivour primarily, I noticed a definite increase in appetite once they started eating them.
