What's up guys. I showed this guy when I first
Got him a few months ago. He's now pushing 10in+ and turning into the torpedo I thought he'd be.

Thus far he's been rather well tamed. Beefed with my Arowana in its old tank and in its new 7x2 it usually stays to himself beside the occasional scuffle with bass.

Any clue as to ID? Never to a confirmed ID was hoping it was a brassie

Very long lower jaw on that guy. Mine were frankies I believe and none looked like that.
 
Quite peculiar on the protruding lower jaw. Interesting look, I want to say it looks like a brasi as Frankies have somewhat of an overbite and more slope to the head. Nice dorado :)
 
It's head is deformed so trying to use that is out I'd say. Would have to get a scale count between the dorsal and LL

You know I have never really noticed his head shape being weird until you guys have mentioned it. Def has an odd shape. Let me see if I can find some other pics. Away for the weekend

He looks like a dummy, I kinda like him with his weird head shape :D
Oddballs are always the best!
