Does anyone have experience with dorsal fins grow back after being damaged? My trimac managed to damage his in a tank by himself. I'm hoping for full recovery.

He has a torn hard ray I would say. It is right where the dorsal starts to extend beyond the fish's body. I think it was ripped on tank decor. He's a rowdy fish
The soft rays usually heal no problem, the hard rays can be a bit more fickle. Maybe post a photo?
